An Interview with Dennis Alexander

Who is Dennis Alexander?

To answer this question, among many others, I spent a few hours with Dr. Dennis Alexander at the Sentient Temple in St. Petersburg.

As soon as I walked in the door, I knew I was welcome! Dennis greeted me with a hug, and introduced me to everyone at the Temple. A family was on their way out the door, and I could not help but notice their smiles and calm demeanor. I could only assume that they had just experienced the healing powers offered by the Sentient Temple, and I came to find out later that I was right!

Dennis was gracious enough to share many stories of healing with me. While there are several things that I can and will tell you about Dr. Alexander; I believe that the work of his healing and what he does for humanity and our community is the most important of all.

Among other things, Dennis is a Mayan, Usui, Karuna, Shamballa Reiki Master, a Reverend, Shaman, Quantum-Touch Instructor,  Body Restoration Technique Certified Master and a Qigong Medical Practitioner. Wow! People come from all over the world (literally) to experience the healing of Dennis at the Sentient Temple.

“This is my work; this is my service,” Dennis told me; and after spending time with him, I have no doubt that he means business!

Countless people have experienced healings at the Temple with Dennis and the other healers who work with him. Although everyone present was kind enough to use the BRT technique on me to help me with my persistent cough, they have helped folks out in much more serious cases. Among the healing stories that Dennis shared with me were a person with cerebral palsy and a thirty-four year old man who experienced epileptic seizures. Not only did Dennis and the Sentient Temple heal both of these individuals; Dennis also helped the man with epilepsy to control his psychic energy. This man’s energy was so high, that lights exploded when he walked into a room. Dennis explained that this man was simply not in control of his psychic energy, and was able to lead a normal life after Dennis taught him how.

During our conversation, Dennis explained to me about the existence and importance of energy levels in human beings. Most people operate somewhere between the range of two hundred and one thousand. Terrorists, Dennis explained, operate at extremely low energy levels—some below two hundred. An example of someone operating at an energy level of one thousand was Jesus Christ. Perhaps this is why Jesus was able to perform so many incredible miracles that are documented within the New Testament of the Christian Bible. But one thousand is an extremely high energy level, and Dennis explained that only Jesus Christ has ever operated that high. Dennis operates around the level of three hundred and fifty—an extremely high energy level for this world.

Dennis attributes much of his success to his loving and supportive parents, Alexander and Sally Dziedzic. His mother had a PhD in metaphysics, and his father was a great provider, but most importantly; both of his parents “let him be him.”

Dennis is not a subscriber to the “positive thinking” movement; he takes it one step further and believes in and exudes “positive living!” He is clearly an example of someone who practices his philosophies and his beliefs; he has healed beggars in the street in addition to people who come from all over the world to experience his healing. Dennis is most proud of the Temple and its people that also practice what they learn. He knows there is “no limitation” to the potential of Reiki and Quantum touch, and takes “no credit” for anything. Dennis refers to himself as the “conduit” or “pipeline” for the miracles that occur through him.

Not only does Dennis not take credit for anything, but he does not assume anything either. Dennis explained that he is “always amazed” when they heal someone. Each time and experience is a gift not to be taken lightly or for granted. When I asked Dennis what inspires him, he said the Spirit—his source. Inspire means “to be in the spirit!” Each day, Dennis says, “thank you; I am blessed.” He considers himself the most gracious, luckiest, and richest person. His true happiness lies in his service and what he does for people and the community; getting paid is not his concern. Dennis also explained that others can be blessed as well; the universe does provide, but we have to “get our hands in and work!”

When I asked Dennis if he has any advice for someone beginning a spiritual journey (since many of us are), he very enthusiastically replied: “Go for it and keep an open mind!” Furthermore, considering Dennis’s prognostications for the year 2012; now is an excellent time to get started! Dennis wrote an excellent article for us about this in our October issue last year about the polar shift NASA projects as due in 2012. “What will happen then?” I asked Dennis. “I hope you know how to cook over an open flame!” he answered. And as he said in his October article, “We who have deepened the illusion of separation will finally find the path which was never lost, only hidden.”

I wish I had the space to share with you everything that Dennis so generously shared with me. He has no regrets, and has lived an honest life in which he remained true to himself. He was a mountain man from 1979-1986 in the Sierra Nevada mountains, and spent several years in the Mayan Jungles of Central America; a time during which he visited Ciudad de Blanca—“The White City”- a place no one had been for over 1,000 years. He has so many wonderful stories and experiences to share, that one could easily write an entire book on him, the Temple, those that work with him, and everyone whose life he has so positively touched. Speaking of books, Dennis is currently working on his sixth book, “Quantum Reiki.” I urge you to check out his other works, including The Sebastian Cane Chronicles and MayanReiki: Shamanic Journeys in Magic and Healing; the second of which he co-authored with his wife, Reverend Fern Alexander.

Thanks to Dennis for giving us and all the readers this gift of sharing more about himself, his life, work, service, the Temple, and how each of us can get the most out of our own lives—by staying true to ourselves, connecting with our Source, remembering that the Universe supports us, and not being afraid to “get our hands in and work!”
